The true value of any enterprise can best be measured as the sum total of all of the decisions made by all of the people in the organization over time. The formula, when you think about it, is actually quite elegant in its simplicity. We need to understand that any organization is only as good as its ability to repeatedly make great decisions and to have those decisions executed as they were originally intended. Yet, look deep into the mind of an organization, and you will very likely detect more than one flaw in the organizational decision-making process and in the many individual moving parts that make up decision-making excellence.
