Teamwork vs. Team Performance

Canada has always been able to produce reliably high-performing hockey players capable of competing on the international stage. We have done so generation after generation, despite changes to the way the game is played and the emergence of new hockey superpowers, ranging from Russia to the Nordic countries. Our best players typically come from small, salt of the earth, blue-collar towns such as Flin Flon, Manitoba, Floral, Saskatchewan, Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and Chicoutimi, Quebec; places not exactly high on anyone's list of world-class cities. Despite this, we produce world-class hockey players who can skate, shoot, score and fight with the best of them.
