It’s hard for older adults to maintain their health if they cannot see well enough to read the labels on their medication or prepare meals safely or get themselves to medical appointments. Our Center gives blind older adults the tools and skills to meet these challenges and maintain their health and independence. We are grateful for the $5,000 grant from the Many Bridges Foundation received in February 2007 and ask that you consider a grant of $10,000 for our work this year.
