Story Money Impact was first sparked by Women in View’s Creative Leaders Program, the brainchild of Rina Fraticelli. This initiative permitted me to invite friend and social innovator Al Etmanski to be my formal mentor during 2012–2013. I was employed at the National Film Board at the time and I appreciate that Cindy Witten and Michelle van Beusekom gave me the space to explore this, as well as attend my first (and rather life-altering) Good Pitch event.
