Some highlights from the 2012 presidential campaign: Women were excluded from a congressional hearing on birth control. A New York Republican campaign spokesman wrote on his Facebook page, “Let’s hurl some acid at those female democratic senators.” Rush Limbaugh called a Georgetown student a “prostitute” and a “slut” for wanting access to contraception.
