All it takes is a glance at academic journals to notice that there’s a tsunami of research on gender in the workplace. That’s probably a good thing. Ideally, these studies demolish stereotypes and allow us to see beyond the sex gap so that we can better appreciate people’s humanity. Sort of like the girl-power conversion that happens to male CEOs when they have firstborn daughters, as you’ll see.
