Appendix 10.1 Using Minitab for Multiple Regression

Generating a Multiple Regression Equation

In Appendix 9.1, you used Minitab for generating a simple linear regression model. The same set of instructions is valid in using Minitab for multiple regression. To carry out a multiple regression analysis for the moving company data, open the MOVING.MTW worksheet and select Stat → Regression → Regression.

1. Enter C1 or Hours in the Response: edit box and C2 or Feet and C3 or Large in the Predictors: edit box. Click the Graphs button.
