8.2. Two-Factor Factorial Designs

This section begins the study of experimental designs in which more than one factor (X) is examined simultaneously. These experimental designs are called factorial designs because they simultaneously evaluate the effects of two or more factors (Xs). This section discusses the simplest factorial design: the two-factor design.
