DO OR DO NOT, THERE IS NO TRY

My favorite thing about startups is that they don’t require anyone’s permission. Great entrepreneurs just start doing things. These are the same entrepreneurs who can be the leaders of their startup community. They just do things, like many of the people you’ve read about in this book.

Although it’s a long, challenging journey to create and maintain a startup community, no permission is needed. Startup communities exist all over the United States and the world. Some are already vibrant and durable; others are nascent. Hopefully this book has given you lots of ideas and inspiration to help take your startup community to the next level. Remember, it’s a long-term journey, so be patient and persistent.

As Yoda once told Luke, “Do or do not, there is no try.”
