Chapter 6. Diodes I
In an initial foray into diodes, this chapter looks at their operation in forward-biased and reverse-biased circuits. Plots are made of the various diode characteristics. Zener diodes are introduced, together with the concept of breakdown voltage, and how that affects the diode’s characteristics.
