Ken Loyd's printing and graphic design business, Keness, has taken many twists and turns since he started it in 2000. But don't call any of them surprises. The changes his business has experienced have been the direct result of his careful, unflinching analysis.
Before Ken started his business in 2000, he worked in Japan for Yamaha, doing Japanese-English translation and teaching. Although he enjoyed the work, he had other dreams he wanted to pursue. “It wasn't that I disliked my job,” he explains, “but it was more of a desire to do my own thing.”
