Meet Emma
To show you how the ideas in this book can be used in starting your company we’re going to follow the progress of a fictional entrepreneur, Emma, through starting her business.
Emma is 27, and lives in Leeds. After graduating from university in the city (she’s originally from a small village in Cornwall) she stayed and got a well-paid job in marketing for a financial services company. She’s had two promotions since then, but has been getting bored. She never actually meets a customer, she doesn’t find the product very exciting, and she doesn’t get the opportunity to try any of her ideas.
