Opening the bank account

You should have received your company registration documents, in which case it’s time to make the final decision of which bank to open your account with.

You’ll need to submit your Certificate of Incorporation for your bank manager to see and take a copy of. They may even want to see your Memorandum and Articles of Association.

You’ll also need to take along a couple of forms of identification with you for each person in your management team, such as a passport or driving licence, and some kind of bank statement or bill that shows your home address.

If you like, you can arrange a meeting with your bank manager and they will do a lot of the form filling for you. You then just have to sign in the correct place!
