Even before you meet with your potential funders, you need to start selling. They’ll be really impressed that you already have this most important part of the business under way.

They know that the only reason a business exists is to serve its customers and to earn a profit as a result. Without customers there is no business. The more evidence you can prove of having sales or being near to having your first sales, the more likely they will be to provide you with the funding you require.
