Week Thirteen: Sales

This week you’ll think about how to persuade people to buy from you, and how you’ll ensure they’ll want to buy from you again in future.

You’ve identified who your early customers could be. For the next section of your business plan you need to answer the following questions, which are shown with some suggestions to set you thinking:

Where will your customers buy your products or services?

  • From your premises.
  • From their premises with you visiting them.
  • Over the phone.
  • From distributors or retailers.
  • From partner companies.
  • From your website.
  • At home-shopping parties.
  • At events such as conferences, trade shows, country fairs etc.

What will persuade them to try your products or services?

  • Signage.
  • Advertising.
