THIS WEEK’S TO DO LIST

  • Be positive!
  • Get networking, either by accepting invitations that you already get, or by contacting the networking organisations (see the next page for contact details) and arranging to go to one or two meetings or events. Most will let you go along to one or two without becoming a full member, so that you can see if you would like to join. You’ll probably have to pay between £10 and £20 to go along. Don’t shell out for membership yet!
  • Consciously look for opportunities. Write down at least three by the end of the week.
  • Organise a way to practise selling – at work, at a car-boot sale, anywhere.
  • Negotiate some great deals for yourself.
  • Persevere!
  • Find out about local bankers, accountants and lawyers.
  • Remember to keep updating ...
