Imagine the future

This week I want you to take every opportunity you can to daydream. I know you’ve been told off for that in the past at school or at work, but daydreaming is a really useful tool that’s been used by many of the world’s great thinkers to come up with amazing ideas and inventions.

Daydream in the shower, in the bath, while having breakfast, on the bus or train or in the car. Daydream during your lunch-break, while you’re on hold or in a lift. There are lots of times during the day when you can let your mind wander for a few minutes.

The only restrictions are not to daydream during important meetings with your boss or in affectionate moments with your partner. It really doesn’t go down well.
