About the author

Steve Parks began his career as a BBC radio journalist before launching his first business – an independent production company – at the age of 25.

In the last fourteen years he’s experienced first-hand all that running your own business has to offer – from failures to successes.

Now 39, he’s one of the co-founders of a web consultancy that has 140 staff and offices in nine countries. The company works for some of Europe’s largest brands, as well as the public sector.

As well as building businesses, Steve writes and speaks about entrepreneurship, and outside of work he’s a foodie. He lives in London, but looks forward to returning to the countryside.
