Twitter is a micro-blogging and social networking site. The unofficial credo of Twitter is that “less is better.” While Facebook uses posts as its primary method of connection, Twitter uses Tweets. Every Tweet has a 140-character restriction, so users have to communicate within these parameters. So how does one set up a Twitter account?
1. Start by logging into www.twitter.com.
2. Enter your name, e-mail address, and password, and click on Sign up for Twitter.
3. Select the name by which you want to be seen and click on Create My Account. You will then be taken through a short tutorial.
