For various reasons, Facebook still has a more personal, intimate feeling to it. For a business owner who is just establishing his or her business, a professional profile is a must. Most importantly, business owners need to create a network to grow. This is exactly why LinkedIn was created.

Here’s how to set up a company profile on LinkedIn:

1. Start by logging into www.linkedin.com. Once you enter the site, the sign in or sign up page shows up.

2. There are two options available to you. You can create your new profile or you can import your settings from Facebook. If you click the option Sign Up With Facebook, the first four fields will fill up automatically and you only have to enter the password.
