Chapter 4The Four S’s: Structure

Structure is the first category we’ll cover in the Four S’s. I’ve personally seen many small businesses suffer and fail because this area was overlooked when the business was started. Businesses of all kinds struggle with this concept and end up derailing their entrepreneurial train as soon as it’s left the start-up station. The Bible states that man cannot live by bread alone; the same applies in your business. A business cannot survive on the idea alone, but on the foundation, or structure, upon which your business was built. The structure of your business encompasses your idea and forms the foundation of your business’s success.
