Making sales

As an American professor of entrepreneurship once said to me,‘ If you aren’t making sales, you are not in business.’ It is a simple statement and very true!

Selling is something not everyone likes to do but comfort yourself with the fact that, with the right product or service, sales is a numbers game and with a target list of, say, 50 prospects, you absolutely will make a sale. You just have to pitch it well and be persistent!

These are the steps to make your perfect pitch.

  1. Make a list – draw up a list of the people/companies/organisations you think would be interested in buying your product or service. Make a list in Excel, which looks like this.
