Exporting and Importing Calc Data
You can export Calc data to other spreadsheet and database software, and you can (to a certain extent) import data into Calc from other spreadsheet and database applications. Calc does not directly export data to StarOffice Base, nor can Base tables be saved as Calc spreadsheets.
To Export Data
The Save As feature provides you with the ability to save StarOffice Calc spreadsheets in a variety of formats. You can save Calc spreadsheets as Excel files (Excel 97, Excel 95) and dBase tables.

Open the spreadsheet that you wish to save in another file format, select the File menu, then select Save As. The Save As dialog box will open.

Type a new filename for the export file (if necessary).
