Working with the Navigator

While not specifically associated with formulas or cell values, another benefit of naming cells or ranges in a sheet is that you can use the Navigator feature to quickly move to a named cell in a spreadsheet. The Navigator essentially functions like the Go To feature found in other software applications.

When you open the Navigator, the currently active cell will be listed at the top of the Navigator window. You can use the Navigator to list all sorts of items that you have inserted into a spreadsheet, including range names, database ranges, linked areas, graphics, and notes.
