Copying and Moving Formulas

You will find that the relative cell referencing used by the formulas that you create in your Calc spreadsheets makes it easy for you to copy or move the formulas.

Be advised, however, that you must copy or move a formula to a location that is similar to the original cell that you created the formula in.

For example, if the formula multiplies two cells that are located to the left of the formula, the location that you copy or move the formula to must be located so that there are two cells to the left of the formula that can be multiplied together.
