Renaming Sheets

When you are building complex spreadsheets that contain multiple sheets, you will more than likely want to name your sheets something other than the defaults that are provided (such as Sheet1, Sheet2, etc.). As you learned in the last section, you can provide a custom name for a new sheet when you insert it into your spreadsheet.

But what to do with those existing sheets? Actually, you have two options for renaming any sheet in a spreadsheet. To rename the active sheet, select the Format menu, point at Sheet, then click Rename. The Rename sheet dialog box will appear.
