Navigating a Calc Spreadsheet

Once you build a few spreadsheets, you will want to consult the data that they hold. This means that you will need to move from row to row, or column to column, or you may even need to move from sheet to sheet in a particularly large spreadsheet that is made up of multiple sheets.

While most of your navigational moves on a spreadsheet will only take place in a fairly small area (just in the cells where you've entered information), you will find that using the mouse exclusively to move from cell to cell can become tiring, especially when you are entering information from the keyboard. Let's explore some of the different methods of navigating your spreadsheets using both the mouse and the keyboard.
