The Rehearsal Script

 

The rehearsal script is the script the SM creates during the rehearsal period at the rehearsal hall. It is the SM’s bible and lifeline to the production. In it are noted the actors’ blocking, technical cues, and prop placement, preliminary notes on some of the scene change moves, characterization and motivation notes prescribed by the director, all changes the director might make in the dialogue or script, and a copy of the SM’s personal floor plans.
