Actor’s Equity Association (AEA) A union for theatrical actors and stage managers. Commonly referred to as Equity, AEA, or Union. Theaters or productions working with AEA actors must follow all union rules so stage managers should acquaint themselves with the policies and guidelines before working on any AEA productions.
