Sample Databases and Files
As I stated in the introduction, I prefer to use a different set of sample databases than the evergreen AdventureWorks, as the latter is possibly too complex to illustrate data integration processes simply and clearly. The database schema that I propose is extremely simple and very lightweight. Indeed, it will result in the tiniest data loads that you have ever met. However, as reality is likely to compensate for this in your day job, I hope that no one minds too much.
The sample data consists of five databases:
