Accessibility: Features of a multimedia presentation that allows easier access to the content for people with disabilities.
Action: A script in Macromedia Flash.
ActionScript: The programming language of Macromedia Flash.
ActiveX: ActiveX controls are files that extend the operating system or a program, such as Internet Explorer. Shockwave is available as an ActiveX control for Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows. The ActiveX Xtra enables projectors to use other controls.
AIFF: Audio Interchange File Format. The most common sound format used on Macintosh computers. It is also used in the digital music recording industry. You will see these files on both Mac and Windows machines, usually represented with a .aif extension.
