Startup Options

The easiest way to start Outlook is to click the Start Menu. Doing that either launches Outlook or prompts for selection of a profile if multiple profiles are configured. However, you can launch Outlook in several other ways.

If you prefer to launch Outlook when your computer boots, you can copy the desktop icon to your Startup folder.

Tip

If you’re in a corporate environment, check with your system administrator before using the Startup folder technique. Some system administrators prefer that no programs load automatically when your computer boots.

For Windows XP do the following:

1. Right-click on the Start menu and select Explore.

2. Navigate to the folder that contains the Outlook.exe file, usually found at C:\Program ...
