Storing Templates on a Web Server
Word 2003 also enables you to centrally store templates for your entire organization on a Web or intranet server. As with workgroup templates, all users can share access to these templates concurrently, and the templates can be centrally managed and updated.
Creating a Template Folder on a Web Server
To specify or create a folder on a live Web server where you can store and retrieve templates:
1. | Click File, New. The New Document task pane opens. |
2. | Click On My Web Sites. The New from Templates on My Web Sites dialog box opens. |
3. | Click the Create New Folder button (fifth button from the left along the row of buttons at the top of the dialog box). The Add Network Place Wizard opens. |
