Using Mac OS X on a Mobile Computer

Using Mac OS X on a laptop Mac, such as an iBook or PowerBook, isn't much different from using it on a desk-bound machine. The two primary tasks that are unique to mobile Macs are the following:

  • Managing your Mac's power

  • Configuring and using the trackpad
