Knowledge and the Semantic Web

After a bit of theory, it's a good time to move into the more practical things. Let's look at the technologies that will help a computer to do so many exciting things with knowledge.

To put any data online, it is enough to build a very simple HTML file or to create something more complex with the use of dynamic scripts, and so on. However, to make knowledge accessible for computers, something more is required.

Even if somebody annotates information with XML tags as in Listing 27.1, it is not enough to make the data comprehendable.
