Most of the specifications used when this chapter was written had an official status of W3C Recommendation; some of them were W3C Working Drafts. Everything is changing rapidly in the XML world and it is possible that some DOM specifications will change. This section will be your guide through some of the most useful resources where you can find up-to-date information regarding the DOM.
