Rlogin

The Rlogin application is another application that provides remote login. Rlogin was primarily designed to provide remote login features between Unix clients and servers. The very first Rlogin application was implemented on version 4.2 of the BSD Unix OS. Rlogin has been documented as a specification in RFC 1282.

The primary difference between Rlogin and Telnet is the fact that Rlogin provides a simple remote login feature whereas Telnet implements a much more sophisticated feature that manages remote login on diverse computers.
