Monitoring User Login

Monitoring user logins is a vital system security process. Monitoring the successful and failed login attempts enables the system administrator to keep a track of people trying to access the Solaris system. Solaris provides various commands such as last, who, and finger to monitor login attempts, and trace recently logged in and logged off users.
