Window Managers for Solaris

A Window Manager is a program that controls the features of the GUI. The windowing system uses the Window Manager to keep track of the location of each window on the desktop. Operations such as opening, closing, moving, resizing, and positioning of windows and handling windowing sessions are handled by Window Managers. X Windows uses many Window Managers to manage the various desktop environments.
