Configuring NVRAM Parameters

You use the OpenBoot commands to display and modify the configuration parameters stored in the NVRAM. The printenv and eeprom commands display the configuration parameters. The printenv command is used at the OpenBoot prompt, whereas the eeprom command is used at the operating system prompt. The printenv command lists the NVRAM configuration parameters with their current settings and default values. Listing 2.1 shows a sample output of the printenv command:
