Summary

Solaris 9 has several features common to the previous versions of Solaris OE, such as multitasking, multithreading, multiprocessing, and so on. However, Solaris 9 comes with several new features useful for the different categories of users. Solaris 9 provides several administrative tools, such as Solaris 9 Resource Manager, Solaris Volume Manager, Patch Manager, and Solaris WBEM Services 2.5.
