Solaris Management Commands
The Solaris 9 OE provides a number of commands that facilitate management tasks. Some of these commands provide the underlying implementation of the views in SMC. Table C.1 describes the Solaris management commands.
Command | Description |

smrole | This command is used to manage user account information in a role. You can add, delete, or modify user accounts from a role. |
smmultiuser | This command is used to manage bulk operations related to user entries in a name service, such as NIS or NIS+. The entries are stored in the /etc file system on the local hard disk. You can use input files or clear text piped with the smmultiuser command to manage bulk operations. |
