Components of .NET
The .NET environment consists of the following components:
.NET Infrastructure and Tools
This component provides the infrastructure and tools required to develop the next generation of services. Some of these tools include the .NET Framework, Visual Studio .NET, and the Enterprise Servers. The .NET Framework will be discussed shortly.
