“Hello World” Web Part
As a developer, the best way to learn about a product is hands-on experience. By looking at available pieces of code or examples, you can later build upon them, thereby going on to more complex tasks, which is why developers like to hear the revised technical Jerry Maguirism “Show me the code.” I start with very simple examples and later explain more sophisticated code for creating Web Parts using XML and XSL. Every programming book that I have read to this point starts with the simple example of “Hello World”. In this section, I will use this basic sample code and build a Web Part for it.
