Summary

Throughout this chapter, we introduced the Web Storage System and how you can explore, modify, or add properties and values of the Web Storage System by using the Exchange Explorer tool. Then we introduced the WebDAV protocol and explained what major extensions are added to HTTP1.1. Through simple sample code, we showed how you can create collections on remote servers over HTTP, how you can set or get the properties of documents and search for specific properties of documents, how you can control access to a document by locking or unlocking a document, and how you can copy or move content on remote servers. Finally, we showed in detail how you can use WebDAV new methods to create useful Web Parts.
