Summary

This chapter covered a lot of territory. We talked about the Visual Studio .NET IDE and how to use its debugger effectively. We talked about general debugging tips, and we talked about employing design techniques that can help avoid the need for debugging.

Although this chapter is useful and very instructive, there’s no substitute for doing it. As one of my students often says, with the “Butt Time,” you’re never going to learn this stuff. And that’s true. Your debugging skills will improve as you use them.
