Mobile Controls

Now that you’ve seen a few examples of how mobile Web Forms work, let’s look at what mobile controls are available. Table 20.1 contains a list of the controls that come with the Mobile Internet Toolkit.

Control Purpose
mobile:Form The outermost control on any mobile page. In many ways it is logically similar to the HTML <Form> tag. A page can have multiple forms.
mobile:Panel Used to group different controls together.
mobile:Label Renders a text label.
mobile:TextView Allows the display of an arbitrary amount of data with optional formatting tags.
mobile:Link Defines a link that can be clicked on. The link can be either to another page or to a different form on the same page.
