Caldera OpenLinux/COAS

Caldera's centralized system administration tool is called COAS (Caldera Open Administration System). COAS is composed of various modules and includes a generalized wrapper that can be used to call the various modules.

You can invoke COAS from within KDE where it will appear as a menu selection, or type coastool from a terminal window. If invoked in an environment where the DISPLAY environment variable is set, COAS will attempt to run in graphical mode. If the DISPLAY environment variable is not set, either because it was unset or because you invoked coastool from a TTY, it will appear in a curses format, so you can even invoke COAS remotely.
