Secrets of the Office Masters: Animate Charts to Emphasize Data
Almost every chart can benefit from some animation. In the simplest case, shown in the following figure, you can set up the bars to appear one at a time, cumulatively from left to right, by using the Flash Once/Fast entry animation. After you get the hang of clicking to advance the animation while you speak, your point will be all the more forceful.
