Organizing Your E-mail

In some organizations, e-mail is the preferred mode of communication, and it's not uncommon for a busy manager to receive hundreds of messages per day. Trying to process that tidal wave of mail can be an overwhelming task if you're not in front of a computer constantly.

Over time, experienced Outlook users usually develop the ability to blast through a crowded Inbox at warp speed, using the Preview pane and message headers to quickly make snap judgments about which messages are worth reading and which can safely be tossed.
